When we purchased our first rental property in the Smokies, we quickly realized there was a great need for an interior design service in our area. We knew we could make our property rent better if we could make it beautiful and welcoming for future guests.

I have always had a great eye for design and my husband is quite handy so we started making upgrades to our short term rentals. Our properties began out-performing similar properties and we saw great success in our rental numbers early on. This proved to us that a great interior could have a lasting effect on short term rentals. My husband is a real estate agent in the Smoky Mountain market and it did not take long before his clients began asking if we offered design services; therefore, we founded A to Z Designs in 2021.

The investment in professional design services makes a lot of sense from a rental performance perspective, but it is also a stress relief knowing you are not the one responsible for coordinating furniture deliveries, contractors, staging, and setting up the property from the ground up. Owning our own short term rentals gives our clients a breath of fresh air knowing we have first hand knowledge into what guests/visitors are looking for in their vacation home.

When we aren't helping investors create their dream rental properties we are spending time with our three young children. Family means everything to us and is the reason for our drive and passion towards short term rentals. When we aren't chasing them around you can usually find us at the gym or exploring new places. We love to travel and try new things so we are always planning our next vacation. Real estate is a huge part of our life and our goal is to create generational wealth and teach our kids about money and investing. We are also extremely passionate about helping others reach those same goals and, apart from designing, we are truly an open book so ask us anything! We look forward to working with you.
